Marvel Premiere Cover Recreation by dalgoda7 Marvel Premiere Cover Recreation by dalgoda7
This is something I've been wanting to try for a while - a straight recreation (as opposed to the mash-up cover recreations I've done in the past) of the cover of one of the comics that helped change me into a comic fan as a kid.

In this case, Marvel Premiere 47, featuring Scott Lang as Ant-Man!

The original cover was created by Bob Layton, copyright Marvel Comics.

Here is the original cover: 3.bp.blogspot.com/-EqH776wvQ_g…;

Sweet! Was that the issue with Byrne's art in the interior?

Yep!  This was a 2-issue story with Byrne pencils inside.  Good stuff!

Another great recreation. I loved this series too. It introduced Scott Lang and brought Ant-Man back in to the spot light. Nice choice here.

Thank you, Rob!  Yeah, this 2-parter was a bronze age classic.  It was fun!

Thanks!  I always though this was a cool cover... plus, how often do you see an 'Ant-Man' logo?  That's why all those 70s auxilary books like Marvel Premiere, Marvel Spotlight, etc were so cool.
