What is love but an idea used by the feeble minds of humanity to give beauty and reason to a world otherwise full of hate and hideous corruption?

Hi there, my rate for comic pages is $80 each - however, I'm booked for the next couple of months. Send me a note if you're still interested, thanks!

80 BUCKS A PAGE?! I'll admit it's high quality work, but 80 bucks!? I don't have anywhere NEAR that kind of money! What, you expect to make a living off of this site?! and what do you mean your BOOKED?! you mean to tell me that so many people are willing to pay your price that you have no more room?! BULLSH**!!!
:icondalgoda7:
*shrug* Sorry, dude. I've been doing this for several years, and through trial and error I found that $80/page is a rate that many people I've worked with find fair for what I give them. Some of them multiple times.

Most pieces I do are 11x17 or larger and have a lot of detail - they take me 10-12 hours each. That's $8/hour at best. So, no, I don't make a living from it.

After my day job I have the time to do a piece every week or two in my spare time. At that rate of production I've generally got several weeks booked with work, many from repeat customers who have found my art looks much better in person a scan on a screen, and want more.

Sorry you've got a beef. There are many artists whose rates are lower than mine on DA, and many who are much, much higher. If the market can support a rate consistently, that's what the rate's going to be until work dries up.
